As I mentioned, due to Windows failures to allow any uninstalling of drivers through the appropriate commands, was unable to do this and other fixes. I've moved on to other systems. The customer didn't want to reinstall, and would rather pay someone else to trouble shoot. When they fail, she'll realize I was correct.
As for the suggestions, thank you all, but please understand that all systems can have their own differences, and what worked before on others may not hold true for all.

Hi Mate, you might be able to try this fix I've had for a print spooler problem I've had before...

1. Load up "regedit" < Run as administrator
2. Delete this key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print". Delete the whole key
3. Close Regedit.
4. Navigate to "C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\W32X86" and delete all folders and files in this folder.
5. Restart the machine

If the print spooler still won't work the user may have a profile on the network, rename the profile on the server and then remove it from the local machine as well.

Hope it's useful!
