It looks "interesting" but just another headache if installed on client machines.
Another program running in the "tray" for customers to ask about/fiddle with/tinker with and break!
When this happens I am responsible. If I put it there then I have to support it and I really don't want/need/have the time to do that!
If it could be automated, run silently, integrated with an RMM etc, etc it may be worth a look for customers not on an RMM plan?
Most RMM's have there own Patch Management anyway.

@Kyle_Katarn Kyle, I have just had a quick look at your software.

Couple of questions here.

What is the difference between the pro version, and the free version?

All it appears to do, in my eyes, is to highlight updates of programs. That's it.

So why should I or any tech on this forum, purchase your software, when all it does is highlight programs which 'can' be updated?.

After all, there may be some programs, which we have licences for, which we do no want to upgrade to the latest version. Mainly because of the cost of the upgrade licence.

It doesn't offer to download any of the programs for you, or the end user. They have to go to the individual software developers site in order to do this.

So why should we buy your software?, when there are plenty of other programs which WILL and DO check for and download assorted programs?.

PRO version :
- Removes "thank you" windows when closing SUMo
- Adds automatic self-update capability to SUMo (since we have a weekly release cycle)
- Adds direct access to developper's page when looking for an update rather than SUMo web page / Google Search

We plan to have optionnal direct download of updates in the future.
