Tired of AVG. Which antivirus to sell?

I know this is an old thread, but I've been using Bitdefender Total Security and the Standard Anti-virus with clients for quite some time. ESET is also my next pick depending on the client. Both of these do a very good job and I've sworn by it for a while. I don't recommend free AV, but if they really are insistent on not paying a yearly sub, I'll install Bitdefender free since it's a simple install-and-leave it program.

What do you guys pay for BitDefender AV? If your allowed to say. I use Emsisoft managed AV through Kabuto. I have been installing MSE / Defender if they don't want to go with managed AV.

When I was originally getting it from a Bit Defender partner, I was paying £6.00 is pr year. I was reselling this for c£29.99 pa.

Now that supplier has gone belly up, and kinda ripped a lot of us UK techs off. I've now partnered up with a BD distributor. E92+. I'm selling and installing BD Gravity Zone. I'm currently paying £1.20 pr user +vat pr month. And reselling this at £4.50 pr user pr month.

I refuse to install ANY free anti virus solution what so ever. I'm not getting paid for it, nor earning anything off of it.. So push them towards my MAV as much as I humanly can.

I offer two options for virus removals. A premium price point with managed antivirus and a barebone option. My barebone option is for the cheapos. I is a virus removal, and tuneup only. No backup, image or paid av. I explain to them the difference and let them decide. This is for residential, businesses pay for the premium option. My basic virus removal is $75. I get Emsisoft for under $20. I'm thinking of offering it as an option
