In my quest to get beat back the paper monster, I'm looking for an app to manage my various customer forms in the field. I have created fillable PDFs of the forms, but I need to have the ability for the customer to sign them from a tablet, and then email them to the customer & office.

I have setup PDFExpert on an iPad as a test, but it seems a little clunky. You have to make a copy of the master form before you complete it, or the your original is overwritten. The customer signature feature isn't tied to a specific area of the form, so you end up capturing the signature and then dragging it and resizing it so the signature ends up on the signature line.

What are other folks using for this task?

TIA

I've also used signit and notetaker HD. Some of the "office" suites do as well. To be honest I've been happy with PDFPro. But I really do not have that much paperwork that I need to be signed. And the few times I have it's been quite involved. I'll edit all of the PDF's in Preview to fill in the text blanks, upload them and then select each one for sig as needed.

Just the pdf reader allows you to do this. Onlt caveat I've seen is that you must create a copy of the pdf prior each time, unless there's a save as feature I haven't seen yet.
