Who would buy this acer

I try to talk people out of gaming laptops but if they insist they are much better computers for this.

Interesting to think Acer would think this is a good idea!

Seems like CRAZY over kill, and pretty high markup.

Why dual 1080's?

A few design choices probably make this thing at least
twice as expensive as it needs to be, and if removed
they probably wouldn't have a very noticeable affect on
"real world" performance.

Why do you need 5 drive bays?

If they took away one of the GPU's they might be able to
get away with just a single power adapter instead of two.

Someone with more money than sense that doesn't want their gaming rig to take up too much space on the table. They certainly won't be taking it with them anywhere. They'll treat it like a desktop and it will be a HUGE waste of money that probably won't even last a year before blowing up.
