I've been known to blank the screen when connecting to client systems overnight for manual updates, etc. Few of my customers (and even fewer of their staff) are going to be in the office after 6-7 PM, but janitorial staff, etc. are.
 
I also blank the screen and/or lock their mouse when they either can not keep their hands off the mouse, or I start hearing 'How do I use that? How do I use this? Can you leave that on my computer?'
Right! I agree, would be a good option.
