Fab's AutoBackup 7 Pro - a must have tool for techs

It's in a folder called "keys" in the Default folder of the backup.
After you've done a restore you will find a .txt document on your desktop called "Produkey."
This will have all the keys it found.

Thanks @Barcelona. Unfortunately, no such file found. I checked EAM's log and it doesn't list the program as having been detected as malicious, so I have more searching to do. I believe I still have the original HDD so will see if I can pull it from it. I'm trying to resurrect MSO 2010. (Hmm, my KB has gone wonky now -- and I'm almost out of coffee! Damn!)

Assuming you keep it on a USB that is not write protected, Another computer not running EAM might of zapped it in the past.
No, I keep it on my system's hard drive and copy my Favorite Programs folder to a USB flash drive for portable work. ProduKey on my main PC works fine and that's what I used for the Fabs backup. When I just now ran Produkey (latest version) against the customer's original HDD, it does not find any keys in the customer's original hard drive -- even though I have verified they are there and non-zero. No idea why; possibly permissions but I got no prompts. Reviewing the Fabs Autobackup log of the back-up that was originally made, there is no mention of ProduKey and no errors. I'm stumped.

I guess Produkey got deleted before Fab's AutoBackup could detect it. Then it did not even try to run it, thinking it was missing in a first place.

I used to wish I could make Fab's AutoBackup able to do all that decryption stuff by itself but seeing how antimalware are treating those tools, I am glad I did not even try to do that.

There are still home/ single user/computers who paid for 2010 and have no use for a subscription even if it includes 1 tbof onedrive storage since many dont trust the "cloud" anyway.

In my case (since I don't/won't use Outlook I am considering canceling my idrive and going with 365 home at $70 yearly and using Onedrive instead. Have not decided for sure yet. My 2010 still works just fine.
