When can I pick up my half of that $10,000,000?

I'm guessing that doesn't actually work for some reason, (aka exchange) or you would have done it and collected that payday and retired to somewhere warm and beachy before I could get this post written. I know I would! ;)

I like you said HALF LOL!

I don't see how it can work with Exchange though, I checked the settings in Gmail and it's all pop maybe imap (doubtful, who knows). I need to hire a Google tech soon if this crazy shiiiit is going on. Hey, he was willing to pay 10M.

I really think @jbartlett323 has it correct. This doesn't seem like a difficult thing to achieve. My Hosted Exchange definitely supports POP access.

You just need to ensure send-mail-as and reply-address are set to be his MS accounts.

Maybe I am not understanding the overall desired effect, but for $10M, I'm sure a solution can be found.

Don't you just hate it when people mix up the terms 'Nerd' and 'Geek', like they're the same thing ...

Nerd wrongly assumed to know about computers:

A SELF-STYLED ’nerd’ is unable to fix computers, it has been confirmed.

27-year-old science fiction fan and fantasy wargamer Wayne Hayes has told his friends to stop asking him what is wrong with their laptops.

He said: “I like Star Trek, Stargate SG-1 and own a £175 scale model of the ‘marine carrier’ from Aliens. I always wear the same Millets fleece and avoid large social gatherings unless it’s a convention. That doesn’t mean I can fix your fucking computer.”

Hayes receives around six requests per week to repair computers, despite working as assistant manager in a garden centre and having no IT qualifications.

Hayes’s cousin Tom Booker said: “Of course he knows about computers, just look at him. I don’t know why he’s being so uncooperative.

“He reads these really thick books with spaceships on them so he must be able to make my iTunes work.”

However Wayne Hayes said: “I’m into technology that isn’t real, like warp drives and teleporters, because it is exciting whereas my boss’s sister’s husband’s Lexmark printer that ‘won’t do the thing’ is not.

“Some nerds know less about computers than thick-necked lager drinkers.”

There is of course some cross-over between the two ...

Oh, and one easy way to tell the difference: Geeks are the ones that like to use Venn diagrams ;)

UK charity called the RSPCA (Royal society for the prevention of cruelty to animals).

They have an office in the town of Bury, in Lancashire.

...so you can understand the response once they put up their shop banner.

Ok, this was in 2003, but it made me laugh.

Ha ha ha. Um yeahhhhh...think they should have stuck to "our area" instead of "Bury"...

In defense of our relatives on the other side of the pond the word is pronounced and means differently. Basically a fort. But I do find it interesting that they are all looking down, maybe into a 6' hole.

LOL ... or perhaps they're looking at a very small photographer.

Bury is very close to my home town where I was born and raised, and I've lived close to Bury most of my life. Funny thing is, I hadn't seen that photo before and, being so familiar with the word 'Bury' as a place name, it took me a few moments to see anything wrong with the wording of the sign.

Bury is actually pronounced 2 different ways locally. The more common pronunciation, and I think the way it is generally pronounced by those raised in the area, is with an 'eh' sound (ie, like Berry, the fruit). Some people though, especially those from nearby areas like Chorley and Blackburn, tend to pronounce it with an 'uh' sound (B-uh-ry).

Locally, I don't think there's any real distinction though between the pronunciation of 'bury' as a word and the pronunciation of it as the name of the town, in that whichever way a person pronounces it, they tend to use the same pronunciation for both.

I suppose you get used to the names of places you live in/near though, to the point that you no longer notice any alternate meanings, even when you live in places like this (NSFW).

Before I got into tech, was buying a new TV at a big box store (but not that one...) Anyway, guy helping was of Asian decent, although clearly an american. His name was Phuc. Yeah, read that again, that's Phuc not Phuk. I had to ask though cause I would never have pronounced that FOO-K. We had a good laugh and he got a sale, I still really think it was only because his name was awesome.

Just highlights how different places have different pronunciations of the same letter arrangements...

LOL!!! Back when I was at CompUSA we had this Vietnamese girl working there. I'm a huge fan of their food, including Pho one of their soups, which I pronounced like foh. First time I mentioned I was going to get some she asked what is it as she had never heard of the dish. After I explained to her she said it's fuh as in f**k. LOL!!!
