And just for fun, here are some details:
- In their tech note they label the issue as NOT with their stupid design, but with the CABLE. "Figure 2. Problematic Cable Completely Inserted" It's not like these cables haven't been around for YEARS AND YEARS now - I mean they COULDN'T POSSIBLY have been tested against any proposed design - that would have taken SECONDS, I tell you, SECONDS!!
- 43 (!) different models are shown in the "Products affected" list. 43!!
- And what happens if this button gets accidentally pressed? "When Express Setup is inadvertently invoked by the protective boot of the cable...The startup configuration is erased and the device enters Express Setup." The configuration is ERASED!!
