Amusing as I think this is, and I do, Google is a search engine, not a critical thinking filter. The age-old axiom in computing, "Garbage in, garbage out," definitely applies.

It is my sincere hope that as AI technologies advance that what is conventionally considered to be the collection of critical thinking skills is built in to those algorithms. First and foremost, "Consider the source." Also including the algorithmic equivalent of this observation in regard to the practice of journalism . . .
