I was relatively lucky, smashed some tiles and blew the TV mast to bits!
Apparently, according to the electrician who repaired all the wiring, most of the bolt went into the ground through the steel gutters and downpipes that were full of water from the deluge.
The noise was horrendous!

Closest I've experienced was a lightning strike about 300 yards away, which shook the house and sounded like a bomb blast.

Been around a power system transformer, on the pole, failure? Had one that popped about 500 yards away from an office I worked at. Earth shaking.

No, she actually spotted a cat walking across the park. This area is in the middle of a housing estate so plenty of other animals about.
She will try to chase any cat she sees but the funny thing is she lives with 4 Siamese cats!

Our labs like to chase our cat, but as soon as the cat stops they stop. They just seem to like the chase.
