As a young kid, my brother once jumped into a pool and exclaimed "Wow! It's really wet!"
He meant to say cold, but 15 years later my family will still yell "wow it's really wet" whenever we touch water while he's around.

Lyre birds are incredible at mimicry. This one (in the video) even mimicked a Kookaburra perfectly.
I saw/heard one once that could imitate the sounds of different SLR cameras and mobile phone ringtones. Whenever it did a mobile phone ringtone people grabbed their phones thinking they were getting a call!
Sounded so real!
