Hey guys, not to be harshin' at all, but the corona virus "jokes" should not be included in this section of the forum imo.
I have several Asian friends who were born here in Australia - which makes them Australians - that have been vilified on social media and racially abused for being "Asian" and "spreading the corona virus" in Australia.

I have seen first hand the hurt caused by ignorant people who think "it's just a joke."

Please think about it.

This is not a defense nor did I contribute, but I will point out people use humor and entertainment for make fearful things less fearful. Ring Around The Rosie for example being about the Bubonic Plague.

I dont think singing "Ring around the rosie" can compare to "you filthy slant eyed slut, why dont you go back to China and take your stinking diseases with you!" Do you?
Especially when the person in question was born here and has never even been to China.
