This might come in handy on a system that won't boot, I'm going to try it on one that I can't get past bsod tomorrow http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=1814.0
hmm, I put WRT in my usb pe and it crashed, then I launched sdi from within the folder and it launched but only read pe system drivers, not offline windows.I just fire up my portable version of WRT from inside my PE. It has SDIO and everything else I need available.
Not to my knowledge. It talks to Windows through it's API to learn about devices and drivers and calls the API to perform the installation. So it is working with the Windows under which it is running. However, I don't claim to know all there is to know about SDIO or Windows drivers installations so if you find a way to do it or a potential way to do it, I'd love to know about it.Snappy Driver Installer can't install drivers for offline Windows installations can it?
I think you should do a little more reading around here. That tool is maintained by one of our members and has many threads here about it.I am just curious if you guys use any of these auto driver installers. I have always stayed away from them and heard they can do more harm then good. If not, is this a good one or do you have any other recommendations? Thanks

You're right, of course. I'd read this whole thread as Fabs Autobackup instead of SDIO. Clearly an age thing.Snappy Driver Installer can't install drivers for offline Windows installations can it?
