Help!
I'm a bit stuck with this one. Customer is using O365, and utilizes the "Preview" pane in Windows Explorer. Preview works for PDF and other file types, but not Word documents. (.doc .docx)
When a file is clicked on, it prompts twice in the background in Word, this:
Closing the prompt twice, then loads the preview of the document fine.
I have:
-Restarted numerously.
-Completely removed Office, ran the online/full repair.
-Changed in the registry in both "User Shell Folders" and "Shell Folders" to other "Cache" key locations (Rebooted also) to another temp folder
-Tested in a new user account, same issue.
-Tested other word documents.
-Checked for Windows/Office updates.
-User in question has local admin rights.
-Hard drive (NVME 2 is brand new with the system)
Any other thoughts? I'd rather not nuke this as they have other software that is not quick to get activated/customized to how they use it.
Thanks.
