Hi,
a new Fab's AutoBackup 6 Pro has just been released :

Added :
- Support for 64 bit NirSoft ProduKey.
- Support for 64 bit NirSoft Wireless Key View.
- Microsoft Word Startup folder.
- Option to refresh source system drives list. This can be useful when plugging an external drive after the program has been started.
- An additional updater program is now bundled in the package. When the program shows that an update is available, clicking the 'Get Fab's AutoBackup V6.X' link on the main window do not send the user to Internet, the updater program is started instead. Then, enter your order number and the email address used at purchase and it will be able to download updates the programs executables and languages files. Just in case, updating manually through the store remains possible.

Fixed :
- There was a "Invalid data type for 'Service Name'" error message when dealing with Outlook 2016 and Microsoft Exchange accounts.
- Nirsoft Wireless Key View box was misplaced when increasing the program's window size.
- Improved Nirsoft files download behavior.

Hi,
it is time to test the updater module.
I had to release another build because the command line parameters startup was broken in the last one.
New version is 6.3.1.26633.

For this, start the program, click the link saying that a new version is available, fill the required text fiels and you are ready to download the new executable.

(careful when you click update, it sort of hangs a bit, so if you click a few times you get some "file in use" errors... just my impatience... I like the inclusion of AutoBackup6Pro.exe.old, just in case something goes horribly wrong).

A new updater program is online now. This one disables the "Download" button once clicked and re-enable it when download is complete or the cancel button clicked. This one will be available on the next Fab's AutoBackup update or for people who do not have the latest version yet

I like the inclusion of AutoBackup6Pro.exe.old, just in case something goes horribly wrong).

Yes, nothing is perfect in this world, this way, going back to previous release is always possible.

Hiya sorry if this sounds a dumb question, I updated less than a year ago, I think that means I can still download the latest versions of 6 Pro, I just cannot find the link. How do I download it?

All you need is to log in the store, go to your orders history. Then, view the order details and you will see the download link at the bottom of the page.

I logged into my account and went to order information and then under download links clicked fabs autobackup 6 pro and it gives me version 6.1.2.257751. When I open it up it says get fab's autobackup 6.3.1.26642 but when I click on that it just send back to the website instructing me how to download it from the same place I already did it from. What am I doing wrong here?

That is not normal. The download link's target is always the latest version. You may have a browser cache issue. Empty it and try again. Or use another browser. That should do the trick

This program has been very useful for pc's that have gone from win 7 to win 10, but failing upon restart. I just did my fifth recovery, replaced with new hard drive and installed a clean win 10 version. Win 7 drives are at least 4 to 6 year old, no wonder they fail. Thank you fabs for developing this program, a must have in every tech's toolbox. And thanks to Microsoft for ramming win 10 and making those drives fail sooner.
