This would be even more funny for me if it didn't hit so close to home! Spent almost 30 minutes on the phone yesterday afternoon because the customer just wouldn't listen. Once I was able to remotely connect, the problem was fixed in 5 minutes! Arrrggghhh

I used to think smoke was cool because I thought it meant power. Then I got a Duramax and discoveedi EFI Live. I made 500hp on a stock turbo truck with only a hint of smoke while the turbo built boost. Thats with no emissions equipment. Then I realized that smoke just means poor tuning and tons of unburnt fuel. Diesels are great and the mpg's can actually go up with the increased power from tuning. These asshats that just go around blowing smoke give diesel enthusiasts a bad name. The shops that put out "smoke tunes" are also in this category.

If this clown did that to me he would find himself in court for "theft of a motor vehicle", "trespassing" and "damage to personal property!"
What a wanker!
You might know this, but this was completely staged. They had a TV show. I can say that it is irritating going to a station with only one e diesel pump and a gas vehicle is there with all the other pumps open. Of course a little patience goes a long way. Also most people don't realize there's often only one or two diesel pumps at some stations.

Yeah, I sort of thought it might be staged. Who would leave their car unattended at the pump and not be keeping an eye on it?
No-one came to protest.
The minute he pulled in behind I would have been watching.
BTW, where he is spewing out soot on those cars - if he were in Aus he would be off the road with a "Defective Vehicle" sticker on his windscreen.
The relevant authorities here are sudden death on anything that pumps out excessive smoke! ;)

If someone pulled my car like that I would have called the police and had their UT video as evidence. What kind of car someone drives is not any of their concern - they didnt pay for it. I cannot imagine the damage of dragging a car like that. Transmission? Steering components or tires ect.. What gives the guy the right of thinking that its his personal Diesel pump? Even if this was staged it will just empower other idiots to start doing the same thing.

Com'on! You guys aren't "tuned" to the "Diesel Brothers". That's how they advertise their business. Largest on line sellers of after-market diesel equipment in the states. Besides stunting, they build and give away some free incredible trucks and other vehicles. Lots of fun (and stupidity) to watch. They've had three seasons on TV.

Personally, I hate diesels. They're noisy and stink! Running or not they stink and are offensive to everyone but the driver.

Maybe they should change their name to "Diesel Dimwits" because they are so far from "environmentally responsible" it's not funny.

Actually - They stress using environmentally approved/sanctioned equipment by modders in their shows although I doubt they apply it. They're a couple of guys in their 30s building a business and having fun. I used to do my part in some heavy auto/truck fabrications long ago but these guys are always pushing it. Fun to watch the rigs get built. How about a walk-about in this all-wheel drive RV?

Yeah, there are plenty of YouTube videos demonstrating just that.
