OMG. The sad part is there are actually people out there just like this.

I know one of them... he's 32 and lives with his 72 year-old mother, who still goes to work. He doesn't work though a few years ago he had a job he worked for about two weeks although he has a College degree is mother paid for! Oh, and he went to a private High-School which they paid over $200,000 for him to attend. In total, he has probably earned between $10,000 and $20,000 his whole life!

Long story short, she put him on the bank account and credit card. He randomly transfers money to his own account, and he buys stuff on the Internet all the time creating money issues.

It all started many years ago. They were pretty well off owning three (3) homes. Then her husband died. Her step-son, the other spoiled brat who is over 40 swept in and decided he was going to take the big house his mother was living in, so he filed a lawsuit in probate court. She wanted nothing of it and gave into each and every settlement demand moving to one of the other homes.

Currently the 32 year old's hobby is buying firearms and random tools like an expensive lawnmower he used about once before leaving it out in the yard for months. Suffice it to say the money issues are getting worse, yet he is going back to school to be a Nurse, and his mom is paying for his education, again. Thus far he has dropped out or withdrawn from no fewer than two courses past the deadline. Regardless, he could never be a nurse because they work too hard and need to have empathy or at least show sympathy. He doesn't care about anything but himself and money. Case and point years ago when we were friends before I knew how crazy he was, I was in a car he was driving and a stray cat crossed the road. He actually swerved to try and hit it. He missed and kept talking about how he tried to hit the cat. That has got to be mental illness!. Then when he missed, he bought traps and went back to the area placing the traps to try and get the cats!

The crazy part is his IQ is probably at or about 100. He is not mentally retarded just a sociopath. His only problem is anything that takes effort (like learning) he won't do.

Recently as the money problem is getting worse because he is spending more than his Mother makes and won't get a job, he started looking up weekend jobs for his 72 year old mother! She is okay with it!

Millennials in the Workplace Training Video

I technically fit into this group, but am nothing like this and find it hilarious.

One of my customers just called up. Needed to kill the email of an admin they hire some 6 weeks ago. Dealt with her a few times, really reminded my of these. They also had a real estate agent that fell into this category. But he did a better job of covering things up. LOL!!!

Jim and Mary were both patients in a Mental Hospital.

One day, while they were walking past the hospital swimming pool, Jim suddenly jumped into the deep end. He sank like a stone to the bottom and stayed there.

Mary promptly jumped in to save him. She swam to the bottom and pulled Jim out. The medical director became aware of Mary's heroic act and he immediately ordered her to be discharged from the hospital, as he now considered her to be mentally stable.

When he went to tell her the news, he said, "Mary, I have good news & bad news. The good news is you're being discharged because since you were able to jump in and save the life of another patient, I think you've regained your senses.

The bad news is that Jim, the patient you saved, hung himself in the bathroom with the belt of his robe. I am so sorry, but he's dead."

Mary replied, "He didn't hang himself, I put him there to dry."

Wow, did I see an old US Robotics dial-up modem in there?

Not seen one of those for a long time.

Actually still see those all over the place. Most are unplugged so seeing it powered up was unique. I do have the (dis)pleasure of going back on Monday to do some more troubleshooting on the lines coming out of the DSLAM. That'll be interesting.

I have one, and it is a true store though I cannot take credit. Had an IT person... we will call her "Charleen" because that was her real name. She had a specific program they ran back in the day the would syncronize records between DB2 and a local BDE engine; I think. The one quirk was that it could not fall asleep, and the home grown app would mess up if a screensaver came on. All was fine until one day someone pushed a screeen saver policy to lock the workstations with a mandatory GPO.

Charleen's solution was brilliant. She hung a mouse on the side of the computer such that it touched a mousepad on the side of the computer. Then she setup a fan that would ocilate left and right. It would blow the mouse, lol! That solution was in use for years!
