Or repeatedly try to put in in after 5 tries turn it around - then installing drivers, Coffin not recognised.

So, I am going to put this here as I think its quite humorous to me.

I have this customer. I cleaned up her laptop and got it running again. But she is continuing have issues ( I bet they are user error) and every time she calls me (4 times now) she is in her car and not in front of her laptop. She goes into some long explanation of what is going wrong and asks me what I think the problem is. Every time I tell her - "When you get a chance to sit in front of your laptop then call me". She must think that I can automagically tell her exactly what is wrong by sitting at my desk in the shop. Anyways, She will tell me today at "blah blah " time and then never calls me back. I have tried calling and no one is home.

Got a couple of customers that are similar. Call/email have a problem with ...... If I do not pickup/reply immediately sometimes they'll come back with "never mind I figured it out". But when I do reply/call back, because of no solution from them, I'll not hear back for days.

This lady is the same one that thought turning off the laptop means hitting the power button NOT the Start/Shutdown option. She is complaining of no desktop and just a curser.

I'm sure you all know the old prank, but still makes me laugh:

1) take screenshot of friend's desktop
2) make it their wallpaper
3) delete all their desktop icons
4) hide the taskbar

4) hide the taskbar

You can do this and be less destructive by right clicking the desktop and hitting Show Desktop Icons (hides them if it's already selected and you choose that option) instead of deleting them all. I guess it depends on how much you dislike the person you're doing it to
