I personally love it, though I would have chosen a color other than bronze, and for precisely the reason one could anticipate "the reaction" that has occurred.

Too many places have fabulous old architecture, and nothing but horrible, mediocre contemporary architecture. Or worse, much like Virginia, where Colonial Williamsburg killed contemporary architecture state-wide (and is still largely doing so), build ugly, faux period pieces. [Colonial Williamsburg itself is marvelous. It's what its influence on architecture in the Commonwealth has been that isn't.]

The spiral is an organic form that goes back to prehistoric times. I certainly hope that this form is not cast aside because of the poop emoji.

I've seen this and many other odd configurations. They do "work fine" but I know the heat from that SATA drive wouldn't be any good for the SSD!
