Thanks! .... and the hopefully the new release I sent you with support for multiple custom, taxrates on services and goods, takes care of your needs.

Oh yea, I am now training my employee and making some changes in my business to provide better tracking and more reliable systems are being put in place to utilize the web app. The update was very much appreciated :)

Ok, I put it on my web host in a directory named "PCRT" and have setup the rights on the files/directories, and edited the files needed.
I'm able to open the Repair and the Store admin pages, but when I attempt to edit any prices or make any changes to items, I get the following page/error
"Nothing found for Pcrt admin php?func=quicklabor" or whatever i'm trying to change. Did anyone else get this error, and if so, what to do about it?
Thanks.

Edit: He walked me through the fix. You need to put in domain/directory/ in repair/deps.php and store/deps.php. Running without a hitch now. Thanks stro/Luke!

Did you create the database and import the SQL file?

Sent this to you in an email yesterday, but really want to know quickly...

Love Love Love your program. Have a few questions. Since I am in the middle of setting up a storefront not much time to spare.
I use Godaddy's Website Tonight for my Stowers Computer Services website. Is there any easy way to merge both?
If so I would purchase it now.

You must not have got my email, I looked and I can't find anywhere that is says GoDaddy's Website Tonight supports PHP and MySQL databases, so I would think it probably would not work ;(

Onsite version?

Hi,

Wanted to say I really like your system, It's very intuative and clean interfaced.

I've played around with the demo that you have offered
and It's pretty cool, I have to say. :)

I was curious if maybe down the road, there will be a modification
to this system to make it more applicable to the 'onsite'
road warrior techs out there, such as myself.

For example, I don't check systems in, or have a bench to work on (that is
unless the customer provides one :p).

I suppose the 'onsite' mode could be a little simpler.

My Wishlist:
1. Onsite Invoices (printed on site)
2. Tracking of repairs (catagorized by customer/computer & date) so that I can look up previous repairs OR drum up business from old customers!

Again, and I REALLY like your software.
Just really hoping that you have a version for us on-site tech in mind for the future.

If you can add invoicing and the managing of the business back end it would be a complete system for PC Repair business!!

This is looking great so far.. If i may make a suggestion. In the reports ==> Printable Inventory, there is no back/home or other navigational menu, it is simply a dead end, and I had to use my browsers back button, (Possible security issues here) May be a few navigational links here would be beneficial.. Just my 2 cents worth... But a great job.... non the less.

Yes, if you could extend this product to include onsite trips I would buy it immediately. We have a shop and do onsite service too, so it would be great to keep track of both within the same system.

ADDITION: Actually, I first discounted buying it altogether, but since MTech brought it up, I thought I'd chime in and let you know that there really is demand for the on-site tracking feature. I'm sure there are MANY shops in the same boat, i.e. also doing on-site service, and they'll also want this feature. For me that was the showstopper. It really wouldn't be that hard to extend your product (I've also evaluated it on your live demo before), and if you add this feature your sales will definitely increase. Good luck, you're off to a great start.

Have you added PDF support lately? It would be better for the pages that get printed and/or handed out to not have the URLs on them. If you've already taken care of that then please disregard my question ;)

Most browsers give you the option to hide the URLs when printing and you can always install a pdf printer such as CutePDF. That how I'm doing it at the moment anyway.
