Pay particular attention to his description of working with PLAY-DOH in the prelude to changing the belt. He has a very dry sense of humor and I suspect that he brought this to our attention to see if anyone really watched the video.

I only watched this to see how all of the mechanism comes apart for a HP DesignJet Z3100 of which I currrently have tore down to clean the "service station". I took this on thinking it was going to be an interesting challenge. Of course it has turned out to be one heck of a challenge - esp. since I am not replacing complete assemblies but just cleaning them. Yes, I am changing print head(s) and ink cart's as needed.

It's an interesting printer to say the least and when I do get it all back together properly it should work (knocking on wood.)

LOL!!! That was great - "makes a great gift" Those design jets are pretty easy to work on once you understand how they work.
