Windows Repair Toolbox

Yes i like Geek Uninstaller a lot too, it's pretty compact and straightforward to use.

However Revo removed the limitation regarding 64-bit programs in its latest version (that probably caused the behavior mentioned by @wavey and @glennd of not showing all programs - in the test i did in my computer it now shows both 32-bit and 64-bit programs) and it also includes this "Hunter Mode" functionality that 's useful when removing stubborn programs. Please let me know what you think:

Anyway, Geek can easlily be added has a custom tool by adding this line to the custom.xml file:
<LINKS title="Geek Uninstaller" link="http://www.geekuninstaller.com/geek.zip" exe="geek.zip"/>

There's a good youtube tutorial about adding tools to WRT made by a tech named Tim:

Ps: you don't need to type everything like he does in the tutorial, just use copy/paste and change only what is relevant.

@AlexCa just a heads up. I am unable to download the Toolbox right now. The site says the account has been suspending and to contact the hosting provider to more information.

Thanks for the heads up.

just got home from a nice dinner and got an automated email in my mailbox, from my host provider, saying that my website is suspended because of virus... I believe that's because of the Nirsoft tools that i'm hosting there.

I've already opened a ticket and will call them first thing in the morning (they are already closed). Meanwhile i provided two temporary dropbox download links until i get all this sorted out.

Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes unfortunately the program will not work. It will try to retrieve an updated definitions file at startup, but instead it will get the "account suspended" page and pass it to the definitions file, making it unreadable an therefore returning the error you mentioned.

I already removed the alternative dropbox download links, and all i can do now is wait...

Fortunately the problem is already solved.

As i suspected the Nirsoft tools i was hosting there were being flagged as virus. I had to remove them, and so the password recovery buttons in the "Notes" tab will not work for now. However, you can still use those same password recovery tools from "Nirlauncher", that is in the "Tools" tab.

If you're still getting the error "For security reasons DTD is prohibited in this XML document...", please just uninstall / reinstall Windows Repair Toolbox.

Thanks and once again sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi all,

I've just updated WRT to version 1.5.0.1 in order to fix the issue with the password recovery tools.

Version 1.5.0.1
:
- The password recovery tools in the "Notes" tab are now working again.

Thanks.

Any chance to get SUMo Free included ?
Hi Kyle, thank you for your interest! For the moment there are already two resources in WRT that will follow the purpose of installing/updating programs. However i also don't exclude the possibility of adding SUMo in the future, based in the feedback i receive here.

Great tool! Played around with both the portable and the install and like what I've seen. One possible bug relating to cpu temp. On my main machine (not a vm) with both versions I get the following error. This is on a skylake i7 build. On my bench machine (ivy Pentium) it works just fine.

Thank you, i'm glad you're enjoying. And thanks for reporting. The program is not currently able to read the temperature for Skylake cpu's. Give it a go with HwMonitor or with HWinfo (in the "Tools" tab > "Hardware" groupbox).
